Sleep, nutrition and exercise are the basic fundamentals of a healthy life. Sleep has been forgotten over the last decades while we have focused more on nutrition and exercise. But recently, thanks to a myriad of scientific studies we are more aware of why we need to sleep.
Sleep is an active state in which our brains repair and organize the information we have collected during the day. Without sleep, we would not survive. In fact, you would die faster if you could stop sleeping than you would if you stop eating.
